Discover in pictures the art of champagne sabering, a French tradition which dates back to the Napoleonic era and which is still practised today using a cavalry sabre known as a “briquet”, still made in Auvergne. Jean-Claude Jalloux lives in Monchy-Saint-Eloi. He was world champion in champagne sabre fencing and even created the Golden Sabre brotherhood 36 years ago.
